Artists are generally known for their perceptive and/or insightful natures. Although many characters in an artistic profession also practice artistic talents when they are younger, they are generally raised as either students or child entertainers, which is why there is no child category under the Artist heading.

Composers understand music and how it affects those who listen to it. They generally get ideas for sounds around them. Through understanding of music and how it affects the emotions of themselves and others, they are generally cognizant of when others are trying to manipulate their own emotions.

Painters include both painters painting on canvas as well as those painting frescoes on walls. In order to paint a subject accurately (if they choose to do so), they generally have a good understanding of nature, including finding and identifying various types of plants and herbs as subjects as well as the human body. Based on the elements and the degree of degradation of paintings, they can generally tell the age of paintings, the materials used to paint it, and, if painted by a well-known painter, who painted it. Painters also understand dyes and how to create them.

Playwrights our writers who specialize in their works being performed in front of others, generally to elicit emotional responses from the audience. Because of the nature of their work, they are generally more cognizant of when their own emotions are being manipulated.

Writers write for many reasons, but generally they write to elicit some emotional response from a reader or persuade a reader to see something in a different way. They generally draw ideas from all around them, requiring them to be both perceptive and insightful of the situations and people around them. Because of their work and the purpose of writing to affect the emotions of their readers, they are generally more cognizant of when their own emotions are being manipulated.
