Religion

Religious professions include workers in organized religions as well as pr less organized ones.

Clark

Clarks assist clerics in many of the bookkeeping and administrative duties of running a church or other religious sanctuary. In a way, they are the merchants of the religious community. They are good at purchasing items for a religious institution and generally would be the ones to recognize if something of particular religious value came into possession of “the church”.

Clergy

Clergy could consist of any of the various priests, pastors, bishops, or preachers in an organized religion. Duties consist of preaching to congregations and any rituals required by their gods. They have some knowledge of history as well, but their knowledge of history is often tainted by the religious lens they wear.

Druid

Druids were religious but their service is more to nature and the gods of nature.

Monk

Monks are the laborers in monasteries, often tending to gardens, cooking, brewing, copying texts, and even training in unarmed fighting, depending on the monastery.

Nun

Nuns are the laborers in nunneries, often tending to gardens, cooking, and working with people to tend to wounds or sicknesses.

Prophet

Prophets and prophetesses aren't necessarily religious in nature… or at least they weren't necessarily before they were called. They are persons called by and inspired by a god to know the future.

Shaman

Shamans are the cleric-magicians of less organized tribal religions. They know their own religious ceremonies and rituals, holy days, and everything else involved with religious observance, but they rarely know anything of other religions. Their medicine knowledge is generally limited to what can be treated with plants and herbs.
