Scholars are well-read, usually in some area of specialty in which they have interest.

Astrologers read astrological signs in order to make predictions. They are generally insightful enough to make accurate guesses as astrology is barely more than a pseudo-science. They might be hired by royalty or politicians or they could make a living as a traveling fortune teller.

Astronomers are scientists who study the stars and the heavens.

Court magicians are hired by the crown as an advisor and to perform whatever magical functions in the kingdom need to be done.

Historians are academics specializing in knowing about histories and cultures. For the purposes of Dice Mob, the Historian profession also includes knowledge of linguistics about those cultures. With an Insight skill check, they can decipher a written or spoken language well enough to understand its means as well as using speech and/or signing to convey a message back to the other person.

Professors are teachers who teach at a university and are generally specialized in a certain area of study. They don't deal with students as much as they do when they were teachers, but instead are better in investigation, hypothesis, and study. If the player wishes, they can choose an area of specialization that they also know about.

Royal advisors are hired by the crown to advise on matters of state and law.

Teachers teach the basics like reading, writing, mathematics, and history to children.
