The most important parts of any role-playing game is the role being played and the conflict those roles face. In Dice Mob, the characters being created are essentially just a combination of the character’s race, skills, and items. The conflict is handled with strategy, cunning, and a lot of competing six-sided dice rolls. We really want to get into creating the character, but to do so effectively, the players need to understand a little bit about the conflict to know what skills, items, and defenses they’ll need to best survive the conflict. Don’t worry. We’ll go into this in much more detail later in the book.
